Acute anxiety is a bunch of disorders (Acute stress Disorders Types ) distinguished by a number of both mental and physical symptoms, with no obvious reason. Apprehension, fear of losing control, fear of going “crazy”, fear of outstanding death or imminent danger, and general worry are among the commonest mental symptoms. Common physical symptoms include dizziness, lightheadedness, chest / intestinal agony, revulsion, increased heart rate, and the runs. Because there are so many physical symptoms, stress disorders won’t be recognized and the symptoms only treated as physical disorders. Doctors and analysts believe that with both psychotherapy and medicine over eighty percent of people with acute anxiety disorders can be helped. Stress may also be one of the common manifestations of psychiatric disorders.Acute anxiety symptoms seem to have become more common in recent times, though this could be due to better diagnostics. And although women are given treatment for these disorders more frequently, therapists believe that this is just because men are less likely to seek acute anxiety treatment. An acute stress disorder shouldn’t be confused with common-or-garden stress and worry which, due to circumstances, can affect everyone at a previous previous point or another. Anxiety disorders, however, are persistent conditions, and will be diagnosed rigorously by an approved psychological health professional after a full evaluation. While self care-options can benefit standard stress or anxiety, prescription treatments should only be employed in clear cases of chronic|protracted|lingering|persistent} and continuing acute anxiety.According to the nation’s Institute of Psychological Health, 19,000,000 adults in the States suffer from one form of stress or another. Sleep disorders or early awakening, depression, tension, muscle aches, and fatigue can all go with protracted acute anxiety.Chronic acute anxiety, also called Generalized Acute stress Disorder, manifests as persistent worries, fears and negative thoughts which last at least six months. Excessive worry over daily activities, and a tendency towards headaches and revulsion are common.Acute anxiety, or Panic Disorder, comes on as a unexpected attack of fear accompanied by symptoms that can resemble a coronary ( palpitations, chest pain, dizziness ). Lack of breath, chills, cold sweats, or irrational fears of death can combine with these symptoms to make a frightening experience for the individual experiencing them. OTT levels of norepinephrine increase the rates of respiring and heart beat in panic attack sufferers Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder is also classed as an anxiety disorder, and can be caused in anyone that has experienced or witnessed a very dire event. Hate, depression, emotional insensibility, flashbacks, nightmares, and a tendency to startle easily may be seen.Phobias, or irrational fears, and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, a tendency towards repetitive or uncontrollable behavior, are also classed with stress disorders. These may co-exist, as many people with obsessive compulsive disorders have fears about germs or un cleanliness and may wash their hands or wash excessively.Acute Anxiety disorders, like lots of other conditions, are an example of standard replies that appear at indecorous times. Our fight-or-flight response, characterized most strongly by increased adrenaline or norepinephrine production, allows us to react quickly to dangerous situations. When lives are in peril we quickly and get to safety or protect ourselves. But when we experience these reactions frequently during daily life, they can be terribly disruptive.Take this Anxiety Quiz now and get a free detailed report with simple to understand illustrations and a breakdown of your situation.Related stuff:Signs of dreaded acute anxietyAcute anxiety treatment Solutions

San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) May 19, 2012

Doobons.com Idrasil and are discovering that the revolutionary new pill medical marijuana, Idrasil, is in high demand by patients from around the world who are seeking the benefits of therapy with cannabinoids, without the negative social stigma or smoke inhalation.

As soon as the

Doobons-Idrasil partnership was announced, I was constantly fielding calls from across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom, Australia, Germany and Israel, said John from Doobons.com. It ‘clear that this is a revolutionary drug that people not only want but need.

Idrasil is unique because it features two revolutionary innovations in the field of medical cannabis extract and consistency. Until now, only two forms of smoke medical marijuana contains chemicals currently in the marijuana plant have been on the market Sativex and Marinol.

However, Sativex, an oral spray produced by GW Pharmaceuticals and approved in many countries for the treatment of MS symptoms, contains only two cannabinoids. And Marinol, another pill form of medical cannabis, contains only one form of a synthetic cannabinoid, delta-9 THC.

Unlike

Marinol and Sativex, Idrasil is an all-natural extract from the cannabis plant that contains the full spectrum of natural cannabinoids (phytocannabinoids), with a 1:1:1 ratio of CBD, CBN and THC . Inhalable Idrasil also differs from medical marijuana, allowing the caregiver to provide a consistent formula and measured dose each time.

A dose

regulated is far better than the traditional medical marijuana because of the fact that cannabis is smoked or eaten unreliable. Now with Idrasil, an exact dosage is achieved easily traced and measured even by doctors.

Sheldon Powers, MD

Idrasil is currently available only in California, with a recommendation from doctors (click here for a list of doctors who make recommendations Idrasil). Since it is only produced in California, can not be sent through the lines state.

its hard to tell people contact me, that Idrasil is not available in your country or state. The fact that Idrasil is available only in California is heartbreaking, said John, founder of Doobons. I am a firm believer in the medicinal value of cannabis and think Idrasil may bring our way of beginning to break down barriers and give people the care they need.

A product of C3 patients Association, Idrasil can be used to treat a variety of disorders and diseases such as AIDS and wasting syndrome, cancer, fibromyalgia, Crohn’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, glaucoma, chronic pain , multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, sleep disorders, anxiety and depression. It can also be useful for the treatment of chemical dependency and withdrawal symptoms.

Weve been

in Research and Development since February 2010. In June of that year, we began our market research at the California Hospice and Palliative Care Association Conference, said Joanie, patients Services Representative (PSR) of C3 Patients Association.

For those who have had the chance to try Idrasil, the benefits are clear.

I lung cancer and a brain tumor. I found the results in other cannabis products, but when I tried the level Idrasil, my writing, appetite and energy all improved within a period of 24 hours. one patient said John.

Van Nuys, California (PRWEB) May 9, 2012

Aviisha Medical Institute, LLC, a leader in portable home diagnosis and treatment of sleep apnea, will offer free evaluations of sleep apnea and $ 100 off the regular price of the test sleep at home from May 17, World Hypertension Day, and duration of a week until May 24. Patients throughout the United States will be able to get a free screening of sleep apnea and online assessment. Sleep apnea has been classified as an identifiable cause of hypertension (high blood pressure) by the Joint National Committee on Prevention, Evaluation, and Treatment of High Blood Pressure.

sleep apnea, known as the silent killer, affects one in every 5 Americans. People with sleep apnea stop breathing during sleep for a few seconds or even minutes at a time and repeatedly waking up gasping or choking for breath. Some studies estimate that up to 60% of patients with sleep apnea have high blood pressure. In patients with sleep apnea, hypertension is often resistant to antihypertensive therapy, which can further complicate treatment. Many people with hypertension can not know why or what to do about it, said Dr. Avi Ishaaya, Aviishas co-founder and CEO. Even worse, people with untreated sleep apnea also suffer from its relateddiseases. Testing and treatment is essential to preserve their quality of life and health.

If untreated, sleep apnea causes excessive daytime sleepiness, poor concentration, non-refreshing sleep, impaired memory, depression and anxiety. It also leads to serious cardiovascular complications, including hypertension, stroke, heart failure, arrhythmias, stroke, erectile dysfunction, and even death. An alarming 85% of those suffering from sleep apnea are undiagnosed and untreated. Research shows that treatment for sleep apnea can significantly reduce daytime and nighttime blood pressure and reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. The treatment also eliminates the excessive sleepiness that increases alertness, increases productivity and improves mood.

If you or your partner snore, are overweight, or wake up gasping or choking, you should be tested for sleep apnea immediately, said Dr. Avi.

Aviisha

is the only national company to provide everything a patient needs to address sleep apnea, including screening, assessment, test management, treatment and compliance. Home testing allows patients to take the test in the comfort and privacy of their home in a fraction of the time and cost of traditional sleep test.

To start the evaluation process or to order a test, visit sleep.aviisha.com HypertensionDay and use promo code. For more information, visit the website or contact http://sleep.aviisha.com media (at) aviisha (dot) com.

Saint George, UT (PRWEB) May 15, 2012

Youth treatment centers in Utah address the need for counseling on addiction and substance abuse. Eagle Ranch Academy is one of the top teen treatment centers that deal with many teens in this area. Although many people believe that both addiction and substance abuse are generally the same, there are apparent differences that everyone should be aware of.

Addiction and substance abuse are both different. Substance abuse is the use of an illegal or legal substance in the incorrect way. Addiction begins as being an abuse, and is when someone does not have control over the usage of drugs or drinks.

According to kidshealth.org, there are two types of addictions that someone can have: physical, psychological, or both.

Physical Addiction

Physical addiction is when the body becomes dependent on a substance and builds tolerance to it. Someone with a physical addiction to something can experience withdrawal symptoms when the usage is stopped.

Psychological Addiction

Psychological addiction is when the drug becomes a craving that can be psychological or emotional. It becomes an addiction when the person feels the need to have to have the drug, and their whole life revolves around the need for the drug. Someone addicted to a drug feels like there is no choice in taking the drug.

Youth treatment centers in Utah, like Eagle Ranch Academy, are all very dedicated in helping teens with physical and psychological addictions, and want everyone to be aware of the sings and signals.

Addiction Signs

According to kidshealth.org, there are many signs of addiction. The most obvious addiction sign is the need for a certain drug or substance. Other signs include mood changes, weight loss, weight gain, and others.

Kidshealth sections the signs of addictions to a substance into two different categories, as they did above, psychological signs and physical signs.

Psychological signs include problems with school, friendship changes, using drugs to relax or forget problems, anxiety, anger, or mood swings.

Physical signs include sleeping habit changes, eating habit changes, weight changes, and the need to take more of the substance to get the same effect.

The Youth Treatment Center in Utah named Eagle Ranch Academy is one of the best teen treatment centers in the state. They specialize in a broad spectrum of areas that range from substance abuse, addictions, eating disorders, behavioral problems, and many others. This youth treatment center is a great place to send a teen that is dealing with problems that families do not have the right tools to deal with.

Silver Spring, MD (PRWEB) May 4, 2012

ADAA is proud to announce its new name, anxiety and depression Association of America, which continues its 32-year history of bringing together doctors, researchers and patients to improve the lives through education, research and advocacy.

Formerly called the Anxiety Disorders Association of America, as new organizations broadens its scope, in recognition of the high co-occurrence between anxiety disorders and depression. ADAA focuses on the consistent message that all disorder disorderspanic anxiety, social anxiety disorder, generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), phobias, obsessive compulsive disorder and PTSDas as well as depression, are real, serious and treatable.

Addressing common mental illnesses

Anxiety disorders are the most common mental illness in the United States, affecting 40 million adults, with a lifetime prevalence of 29 percent. Anxiety disorders often emerge during childhood or adolescence, affects one in eight children, often co-occur with depression and other disorders.

Major depression affects 3 through 5 percent of people at any point in time, with the risk period of about 17 percent. Almost half of those diagnosed with depression are diagnosed with an anxiety disorder and more than half of those with depression experience of anxiety disorder.

Just over one third of those diagnosed with an anxiety disorder and half of those with major depression report receiving treatment, although the evidence-based treatments are available.

ADAA

has always included basic and clinical researchers, physicians with training in medicine, psychology, social, and behavioral health, and patients and their loved ones, says Jerrold F. Rosenbaum, MD, past president of the ADAA and the head of psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital. And ‘unique among mental health associations.

ADAAs

new name reflects the nature of the experiences of patients, which often includes both anxiety and depressive symptoms, as well as the realities of clinical practice and research. It increases the visibility of both categories of disorders that affect the largest number of children and adults, said ADAA President Terry Keane, PhD, Director of the Division of Behavioral Sciences at the National Center for PTSD, and Associate Chief of Staff for Research VA Boston Healthcare System and development.

Our patients come to us because of their anxiety, depression and anxiety because they are depressed, says Karen Cassiday, PhD, clinical director and owner of the Anxiety and Agoraphobia Treatment Center in Northbrook, Illinois. Although I specialize in treating children and adolescents with anxiety disorders, including OCD and PTSD, I often treat depression and other related disorders.

We have long known that multiple disorders are common in patients, adds Dr. Keane. This is the right time to build bridges between those who do research and who treat anxiety disorders and depression, in order to improve the lives of patients suffering from these diseases.

ADAA embraces the inclusion of professionals with diverse backgrounds, trains and supports medical practices to implement scientifically aware to optimize treatment, promotes the exchange of clinical and preclinical research, and provides public education to reduce stigma and encourage people to seek treatment <. / P>
About

ADAA

The mission of the Association anxiety and depression of America (ADAA) is to promote the prevention, treatment and cure of anxiety, depression and stress-related disorders through education, practice, and research.

There is an anxiety attack cure – one that is effective and natural. Inorder to experience complete freedom from anxiety, you will have tolearn to break the fear of having another anxiety attack. This is the cycle: you firstly anticipate a panic attack which startsthe cycle of anxiety. The foundation of a future panic attackis laid hours before you actually experience one. Then, the slighteststress trigger will launch the full blown panic attack into motion.Panic then manifests itself in 20 minute wave-like episodes. There is one anxiety attack cure that those who fully eliminate panicattacks from their lives have and those who do not. The key ingredientis not medication, lifestyle changes, or relaxation exercises. It iswhen the individual no longer fears the thought of having a panicattack. This may seem simple and obvious but the reason you are searching for asolution to anxiety and panic attacks right now is your fear of havinganother one.The first time a person experiences a panic attack it can feel liketheir world is falling down around them. Nowhere feels safe as theanxiety becomes like a stalker lurking in the night. The experienceleaves a strong imprint on the person’s subconscious mind. When this happens people begin to either avoid situations that makethem anxious or they medicate themselves so they are numb to the fear.Neither of these solutions is pleasant or effective in the long term. What the Panic Away program does, is give people an anxiety attackcure, in the ability to immediately stop fearing another panic attack. It is very simple yet amazingly effective. Here is how it works:After a person experiences a panic attack for the first time, themental imprint generates a cycle of anxiety whereby the person developsan unhealthy fear of having another panic attack. People can spendanywhere from months to years caught in this repetitive cycle ofanxiety.Panic Away teaches a technique that allows that person to break thecycle of anxiety and return to normal everyday living. The really unique element of the technique, is that there is no needfor you to go back into your past and find out why you had your initialpanic attack in order to get results. All you need is your willingnessto break out of the anxiety cycle.
